[DIY] dishwashers

 

I do not like to have dishwashers in my units, but I have to put one in.  It's been such a long time I forgot a thing or two.  One thing I am really concerned about is, do I connect the water to the hot or the cold side of the sink?

[DIY] Washing Machines

 

Not sure where else to ask this except for my facebook page.

I HATE my Maytag Bravos washer and have hated it for about 11 years. 
First time in my life I have looked forward to the day an appliance croaks.
Yes I emailed Maytag with my frustrations and never heard anything back.

I will never get another one of those washers that conserves on water. We have free water...  no limits... 
Tired of clothes coming out dirty or smelling like sweat.

The reservoirs where the softener and bleach go  have been rusting out for years. NEVER had that before in any washer. 

Now it tells me the load is unlevel. 3 times I adjusted the clothes insiide. (and it was a small load)
4th time I removed all the items and left 2 wash cloths. Same thing.

If I call a repairman out it could cost me $200. 
Not going to spend that kind of money on a machine I hate. 

What I need is help in determining what washer brand to buy.
I dont want one that limits the water. I want a super large tub.

Any suggestions where to look for information or can you please share your views on washers?
