[DIY] need to clean smear on wildshield from WD40 and sticker glue residue

I followed instructions for cleaning stickers off the inside of my car's windshield using WD40. Well I got the stickers off and most of the residue but I've still got a smear on the windshield I'm guessing from the WD40 - or maybe just the tail end of the sticker glue residue. I've tried my home brew window cleaner but that didn't do it. Any other ideas out there? Thanks. Joyce Keay
