Re: [DIY] Vinyl siding

Clean the surface with alcohol and let dry then attach using dobs of clear acrylic latex caulk  Hold in place with small strips pf gorilla tape until set.  wipe away any excess with a wet rag before it sets.  I've glued every thing from cement blocks to bed liners using this and have repaired any number of plaster and wall cracks with it.  It stays elastic and is good for about 30 years.  On brick and concrete, wash away any extra with a wet paint brush.

Just got our house done in vinyl siding.  Not wanting to punch holes anywhere, we are at a loss as to how to attach things.  We did our house numbers with double-faced foam tape and the fell off in about a week.  Anyone got any good ideas as to how to attach things to vinyl siding except for punching holes?
