5 years ago we installed recycled barn boards in our home for the flooring. they are 1 x 10's that were sanded before we bought them. We layed them, sanded and put the sealer on that the sellers recommended.
The floors are beautiful.
Every winter I run a vaporizer when I start getting shocks when petting our dog.
This year I am putting more water out every day. 1 gallon.
We have had 3 of the boards crack. Long cracks. 3 feet long down the centers.
What do you recommend? Are they too dry?
Picture is when the living room boards were finished and dry.
