Thanks everyone for the replies. I am basically deciding between using #2 aluminum and a transformer or using 4/0 without one. I think the customer today decided to not go with 4/0 because it will cost over $1,000. I can get #2 and a transformer for apx. $600.
This whole thing may be a pipe dream because it probably will not be used 4 week-ends a year.
BTW, in other replies there is talk about NEC requirements for minimum voltage drop. Don't you mean MAXIMUM allowed voltage drop?
