Re: [DIY] Propane burners

We always had JennAire, on propane, and I never gave it a thought so was confused with this one.  You might do some detective work, do some google searches and see what others say about your stove.  You might ask how much is lost with the propane conversion on your particular unit.   When I was googling, I found most units don't lose enough to be noticeable but there are definitely some that do.   Ours did cook, eventually, and had good flame, just didn't get hot... I knew something had to be wrong, just didn't know where to look.   It was an easy fix although it took him awhile to find it and we now have "almost" too much heat, LOL.  The difference is unbelievable, and it was just the length of a tiny nipple that determined how much propane went through to the burners.  I'd still like to try and determine what the actual BTUs are now, against what the specs say, but that will have to wait.  Hope you find some answers.

I am so happy they could fix yours. I was told no adjustments. and now that its not new they want to charge me.

I do believe I didn't get a stove with enough btu to begin with. Plus living in 4500 ft up makes an issue too.
