Thank you Scott. We have only replaced one window.. It was a factory size because we took the advice of the installer.
We had to pay more to have the wall and siding adjusted.

Most window sellers include installation with the window price and sometimes a differentkind of window requires greater difficulty and cost for installation.Further, no matter what anyone tells you... and you will know this if you buy bare windowsand tell them you are going to install yourself ( or hire someone else ) Window sizes in thewarehouse by the hundreds are cheaper than a special order to the factory for them to makea custom size..... assuming we are discussing the exact same window. Often timesthe custom window will have more features ( or maybe less ) than the stock window.So they can make a custom window be the same price as a better stock window etc.When you shop, try to get bare window prices first and later discuss installation costsas separate supplements.
