[DIY] Re: Salvaging good wood from the trash and more

 



Bill,

You're my kind o' guy! I would do the same thing, and NOT worry about the neighbors. I wish more people would spend more time minding their own business anyway. Let's put a microscope on their lives and see how they size up. Just sayin'. My only other comment is that I, too, would be composting those seed hulls. That's the first thing I thought of, and am glad someone else addressed it. I don't throw anything organic away; just doesn't make sense to me. The earth has been designed to regenerate itself in this way, and it's fun to watch it do so.

Keep on Salvaging! It should be our motto/battle cry. I enjoy seeing how creative people can be in their endeavor to re-use. These things are much more interesting to look at and aesthetically pleasing that some mass produced garbage bought from an overpriced retailer. You know the ones I mean: places with names like (rhymes with) oughta be darned. Can we say that? Trying not to run afoul of the group rules.
