[DIY] Window Screens

 

GOOD MORNING, DIY'ers!!

When we bought our house several years ago, the windows had storm windows that had broken channels and cracked corners and stuff like that.  We removed the storm windows and just left the windows with no screens.  Well, we had an appraisal a couple of weeks ago to refi the house, and one of the deficiencies in the appraisal was that the windows don't have screens.  Is it possible for me to make window screens?  If so, what is the most economical way to do it?

I would classify myself an upper novice -- lower intermediate DIYer (that is, I have done ceramic tile, major wallboard repair, replaced a window sill, and replace window panes).
