Re: [DIY] Re: Cordless Skill Saw

Craftsman is 70 dollars.  Big battery is 100.  Still need a charger - I did not look that up because you seemed to ignore any mention of Sears.

We have checked out the cordless skill saws at Farm and Fleet

Dewalt 60 v has one battery and is $299

always nice to have an extra battery right? Sold in packets of 2 ... for $270 or close to that

I could not justlify that kind of money for something we will use a few times a year (for projects that are big for us)

We ended up buying a Wagner paint sprayer to me to use painting a couple of stalls in the barn. $80 minus 10% showing a veterans card.
Will get our money out of it painting walls in the barn every summer.

We can pull a cord around for a skill saw before spending $300 to $600. Price surely will come down... someday

If any of you know anything about cordless skill saws please share your knowledge.
I want to buy one so when cutting boards outside I dont have to drag a cord but I dont want to waste my money on junk but cant spend $1,000
