So it seems John, you dont have these stacked on top of each other since they are both on a pedestal. And btw, to clear any confusion, the post was re:front loaders so that yes the dryer would be on top of washer and knobs would be in the front not top of dryer, and Im tall enough to reach above and throw wet clothes up but I could also use a sturdy step stool there.
