I fully understand your need for warmth. My point being that aluminum wiring is very dangerous. You can determine what you may have by removing the cover of your main breaker box an looking to see if the wire is copper. As for the receptacles, some mobile home manufactures in order to cut corners use a type where the wires are simply pressed into a grove in the back where they are pinched between a coupled of metal clips. No electrical box is used and the receptacles are held in place with a pair plastic tabs that grip the sheet-rock. If you feel the wall socket beginning to get warm or hot, quit using the heater immediately and see what needs to be done to remedy the situation. Electrical fires are the most common cause of death in mobile homes.

Dale, I don't know if it is lined with copper or aluminum.. I bought one of those radiator type oil heaters. I don't have life insurance now. However I would still like the trailer to be a bit warmer.
