We have been putting down repurposed barn boards on our floors. 10 in wide planks that have been planed and sanded. Beautiful boards.
There are some boards that are very "pretty." Lots of grain in them. They are easier to saw than the other pine boards.
When we apply the hard was oil, the pretty boards are always sticky when the others have dried. They always take longer to dry, but eventually do dry.
Any thoughts on what type of board they are?
