Probably didn't hurt anything.
I have put in a new filter and have turned the fan on to low. Fan only. The ice has left the tubes but I bet there is still ice on the coil. Water is draining from the plastic pipe that leads the water to the drain. This is the last time I buy the super filter. I hope that I did not wait too long to discover this problem.
Thanks.

Clean and or replace your filter, not enough air across the coil.

If the air conditioner is not keeping up and the outdoor unit is running what does it mean that the copper tubing running to the furnace is iced up?
