[DIY] Re: Wall Furnace Problem

 

3/4" from the meter does sound small, but should be adequate enough to operate the furnace alone. As a test, do not use the range (if gas) or the water heater while trying to use the furnace above 70 degrees. Even the 1/2" pipe should carry over 70,000 BTU's. This does sound odd because the size of the flame (output) is the same no mater where you set the thermostat, just the length of time being on varies (unless it is 2 stage).
Whatever the culprit, the warranty should cover it. Call them out.
