Check out the Mules, they hold 4 people and have a little cargo area in back and are ATV's , one of the construction sites I have customers at, use them more than pickup trucks, and they can navigate some pretty uneven and mucky trails…

Not a "roadable" vehicle, just something I can drive out of the garage, and/or keep at my back door to transport me/us up & down the hills on our lots. If we ever had to transport it somewhere, my husband would load it on his trailer & pull it. As we have made little trails, picnic spot, swing set/sand box/play area for our grandchildren, we find that our favorite places to hang out & work, eat, play & the most suitable to garden are UP the hill!! LOL Every time I get up there, I have to trek BACK down the hill to get the silverware I forgot, the watering bucket, the shovel for the compost, the hand sanitizer, sunscreen, bandaids, or a hand tool, OR take the grandkids to "potty" :o)............and the list goes on, although we've learned to be much more prepared than we used to! But still, we frequently get into something that calls for an item that we didn't bring. Maybe we should just build a house up there.....or pitch a tent! :-)
P.S. Keep in mind that we don't have a manicured place. Our lawn can get to looking pretty good sometimes in the spring & summer, but we have rocks & a lot of dips & bumps. I just don't want something that's going to tip over and/or be unsafe in any way. I don't know much about golf carts, but one thing I know I would like about them is the quietness.......so as not to scare the wildlife away. But they just SEEM like they'd be so easy to tip over, & safety is my main concern.

A roadable vehicle, or one that you would have toload and tow to the sites?

I'm wondering if anyone could offer suggestions as to what type recreational
vehicle might be adequate and SAFE for hilly, less-than-perfect land. Our
city lots are maybe 1.25 acres. The cautious advice of an acquaintance has
made me a little questioning about the safety of ANYthing on a slope. Of
course, I don't plan on PARKING or STOPPING on a slope, but I WOULD be going
up & down them. That's the main reason I'm entertaining the thought of
purchasing some kind of "get-about"! With some physical/health challenges,
climbing the hills seems to wear & tear more on my joints in recent years.
It would be nice if the vehicle could accomodate at least 2 people, but
safety is the main concern. If anyone has any suggestions, could you also
put a ball-park figure as to the approximate cost, suggested brands, etc.?
Thanks,
Donna
