I tho't that might be suggested & I don't know much about them, but I think I've looked at some on craigslist, & don't they look kind of mean & rugged? :-) So they're just for ONE passenger, right? .......hence, the wagon idea. Yes, that would be fun as long as they STAY SEATED!! :o) I wonder how this would compare to riding my husband's old John Deere riding mower; it's rough on the knees, pushing the pedals, etc. It's been a long time since I got on it & tried to ride the grandbabies, but the last time I got on it, I decided it was too much for the knees. I'll look closer at them! Thanks!

Sounds like what you need is a 4-wheel ATV...All-Terrain Vehicle.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All-terrain_vehicle
The 4 wheel version is more stable than the 3 wheel. Figure a wagon
compared to a tricycle. Less tip-over. I have friends who have one and
they go all over on it. They have a small 'trailer' which hitches on the
back and carries...whatever, including kids. As with any motor vehicle, one
needs to practice safety. Prices will probably vary with location and,
watch for sales.
Hope this helps.
