I have a motion light on my barn that had gotten unresponsive. In trying to check/ adjust, the white plastic lens over the motion sensor disintegrated when touched, but the sensor started working again... apparently, the sun-damaged plastic was blocking the Infrared sensor signal. BTW, I recently discovered that the IFR (Infrared) signal of a trail camera will NOT work if behind glass... Who knew, LOL?
