Looks like a bad type of sticker. By using the iron, you might have melted the glue into the fiber. But it was worth a try. At this point I would soak them in cold water. Maybe try putting Dawn in the water to soften the glue. If you can't make any headway on the removal, you may be stuck using a wide belt. Good Luck!

I picked up some jeans at a thrift store. They were used by a uniform company and have a label on the waistband.
I was able to peel off a couple labels, but others rip apart and leave the back side.
I used Goo Gone without any luck.
I have used a hot iron trying to soften the adhesive and got no where
Any suggestions?
