I want to do some of my own planning with blinds installation and purchase. I have a wide, wide and I mean wide blind on the window that was previously installed and I want to take it down because it is (1) broken and (2) unseemly. SO -- here's the story. There is a large (let's say 108" wide) valance or whatever it's called on the top of the blind that is installed to the ceiling. But there are three windows, side by side, and I don't want that long enormous blind, which is hard to manage and by the way, did I say, broken? So I was thinking to replace that with three blinds, one for each window, all right next to each other. What do I do about the valance? Do I install 3 valances? or 1 large valance? I see they are sold each with its own valance. I don't mind installing 3 valances, but is that how it works? I'll start there...thanks in advance for any advice or information.
