It IS a thought, my friend did her apartment in Pennsylvania with vinyl sheet flooring, she loves it. But we live in Florida and the market here is quite different. It's either tile or laminate. At the present time, I'm tending to go with the tile look. As long as I get a good tiler, I'm working on it. I'm worrying about a water leakage with laminate, in our other apartment the water boiler leaked and the upstairs neighbor had a leak and it dripped to our apartment. My friend said that it doesn't matter how much money I might save, if I'm not happy with the look, I won't be happy when I see it every day. This kind of brought me over to the tile look. I like carpet in someone else's house, not mine. Because of the difficulty cleaning it and moving furniture, etc. Cindi

I'll throw this out there...
Would you consider vinyl resilient flooring? Maybe something like Amstrong's
"Allure" flooring. Floating floor, easy install...nice selection of wood planking styles,textured...can handle getting wet...and inexpensive. It'd be good for a rental.
Just a thought.
