Sounds like her trip will be your working vaca, lol. I will tell you the best thing we did was to use drawers instead of lower cabinets, we still ended up with one lower corner, I hate it, and one narrow cabinet (something like 8 inches) that is great for storing cookiesheets and cutting boards standing on end. Good luck on the kitchen, what kind of range are you getting?

Momma spent two weeks with one of our daughters last year and this was her first real get away in 40 years of marriage. She and all concerned had a great time, so we decided to do it again this year as well. The daughter and son-in-law enjoyed coming home to ready meals, and one of the grandsons posted on his Face-book that it was great finding his clothes already folded for him. Momma plans to enjoy some serious shopping trips this year. I think it is about time she had a complete wardrobe make over, and knowing our daughter, no will not be an option.
She does not know it yet, but I plan to have her new 22 cuft stainless bottom freezer frige and 36 in stainless commercial style range in place by the time she gets home. This way she can't balk at the price. I will post photos later of the renderings of the new kitchen we are building and will appreciate your comments. there will be NO Doors on the lower cabinets, only drawers with many being deep and wide enough for all her pots and pans. Momma has had two knee replacements and getting down to rummage through shelves is not an option.
