I went away this last summer and left my husband at home....never again!! We live in a trailer and have often talked about getting a house, Anyyyyywaayyyyy........he rented us a house that was so huge and it had no fawcets in the bathtubs nor handles BUT did have shower heads...a/c was broke. In short.....landlord did not fix anything...I had to move and then move back into our trailer and am still unpacking and he lost 2200.00. $1000.00 for deposit and $1200.00 for the rent. He signed a lease so we did not get money back and he did not want to persue it but the landlord did not sue us for a years rent either..........lesson learned!!!!

I hope you both enjoy your vacations. this year for the first time in 18years I went away alone!!! almost a whole week, no husband, no kids, no responsibilites except me and my dunkin donuts coffee LOL

It has bee one H---- of a summer and we are taking turns getting away. I'm going to AZ and then on to south Texas to visit several aged relatives. My wife will go and spend a couple of weeks with one of our daughters when I return. We didn't want to kennel the two dogs for such a long period, but this way we will each have a get away time. She will get her stuff done while I'm gone and I will get mine started while she is away. The grand kids wanted granny to go to their football games, and I'd just a soon watch paint dry, so this is a win win for all concerned, except I'll have to eat my own cooking.
