Re: [DIY] OT - Blenders

Good blenders are pretty easy to come by but I really don't need a blender, a food processor, then something to do smoothies/frozen coffees drinks etc.  I'd like to get one that does it all -- but crushing ice smoothly is a priority.  My food processor gathers dust most of the time partly because I forget about it and partly for just two people it seems easier to do it by hand and not have to clean a machine.  I don't have this particular oster attachment but I do have several smaller ones that attach to the base.  But again, the days I used a special machine to grind beans, nuts etc are gone. I've even gone from a coffee grinder to a coffee pot that grinds the beans and makes the coffee, LOL.  Living in town we don't have much garden space so don't grow as much nor use as much.

Hard to imagine that it chops ice smoother than a blender.
