Re: [DIY] OT - Blenders

That is the baby and it is well worth the price.  Momma likes to chop her onions and put them in zip lock bags in the freezer for soups and such in the winter.  She and I chopped about 30 pounds in less than a half hour and avoided all the tears in the process.

You can probably get that attachment somewhere.

BTY Oster offers a grinder processor attachment for under 35.00 which is an absolute wonder.  You never see them in the stores and we only learned about them by accident.  This little bugger chops and grinds like nothing else we have ever owned.  Our oster is 40+ but was chrome and still looks and works like new.  However grinding Ice is no longer a priority.  I used to make daiquiris and fill a large thermos during the summers, less the alcohol of course. They sure were a pick-me-up on a hot Kansas afternoon.  Well I stand corrected, the official Oster web site no longer lists the grinder attachment, guess we'd better treat ours with respect.

Stick with the Oster. The new ones, just, don't compete. Otherwise, you might try the bullet. Small, but, might be better.

As far as I am concerned, looks don't overshadow fongtionality.
