Ah-ha, the old removing a tire from the rim trick.  Never done it myself but am familiar with the process and the machine they use to do it :)  Thanks, I was going to google it later.

Bill must not live in a large southern state *(like Texas) where you can find a Mexican tire shop where one can get a tire removed, buy a used tire, and have it mounted for $10.
