I, too, am a bit unfamiliar with this term. I surmise that the subject is actually merely asking how to uninstall a tire from its rim without having the traditional equipment. Bill must not live in a large southern state *(like Texas) where you can find a Mexican tire shop where one can get a tire removed, buy a used tire, and have it mounted for $10.
