Funny thing about those oscillating tools. I remember hearing about those
and thinking it's just another gimmicky type of TV product. However, those
things have become big hits and apparently do come in handy. I'll have to
look out for the holiday sales.

I have the Rigid JobMax cordless one and I love it. I've used it to cut
panelling around outlet boxes so that I don't pull the outlet out of the
wall when I took the panelling down. I've used it to cut nails, and then a
chunk from a baseboard in a tight spot (no way to get a saw of any kind in
without damaging the plaster wall). Repairing a hole in the floor, I used
it to trim back a floor board, so the repair piece would rest on the floor
joist and not sag as the original 'repair' board had done. I've used the
impact hammer head to put up a hanger for suet cake holder. LOL In short,
it's been a very handy tool to have around.
