[DIY] where to get roman shades brackets?

 

I have wasted so much time, in several efforts, searching the web for
brackets for installing roman shades. I know I could just use little
corner braces, or even put screws through the headrail directly into
the top of the window frame, but is there any place to get some handy
brackets? I did finally find some "roman shade brackets" on Bonanza,
but for $27 for the pair of little metal things with wingnuts! Wow.

Maybe I should actually go to the store and look inside a box of
roman shades, see what they use...
