[DIY] Old Concrete porch re-dressed

 

I had asked for suggestions on redoing an old concrete porch that was 57 years old. Patched, cracked, pitted and porous. We pressure washed it first.
It had one very large crack that had deteriorated into a V- 3" wide at surface. I repaired this with cement powder patch following directions and allowing the proper 2 days cure under a damp towel. The porch surface stain was achieved with a light sand base coat and three other tweaked colors working towards a brick red that was finely splattered on last application.
I like the way it turned out and I have a picture under Carmen's Home projects in the photo section. My next fun project will be working with hypertufa.
