I did go to Home Depot and asked in the paint dept to get their advice but they were not helpful at all. Just shrugged and said that the wood was too wet, something I already knew. Anyway, I bought some bleach deck cleaners, other cleaners, paint thinner and I stopped at the dollar store for some brushes and bought some "LA's Totally Awesome Oxygen Base Cleaner" since it said something about it working on decks as well. OK, now hands down that dollar store product is working the BEST! I am so happy! Seems silly since I am still doing a lot of scrubbing but not as much as I was doing on the other sections with the other products. I have about 1/3 of it done now and since I will not be finished until late tonight it will wait until next w/e for stain again. Unless, it rains then but so far no calls for rain......according to the weatherpeople.
Now back to washing and scrubbing. I have music going and just saying to myself over and over, if you want a job done right.......DO IT YOURSELF! Lesson learned.
