There is a handicapped type, that is cheap.
I got a Sears, decades ago, $99. BUT it was the ONLY
Marine Coast Guard one ok'd for a boat, at the time,
that was portable.
It does not recirc, so it smells less.

And if tipped over, (v unlikely,) it will not leak. I got
mine for a van/house-car. These  are lower than a
variable height, handicapped type. Up to 50 flushes.

I liked it... for what it was. And smaller than the
handicapped type... to hide. ;>) With a home made
cushion and skirt, it could be an ottoman, used for
dressing in a bedroom.

Long as we are on the topic... 8 Oz Irrigation Bottles...
From hospitals etc... mebe $4... make a portable Bidet,
for those sensitive to too much rough paper. Bidet
toilet seats are now about $200, I thiMk, down from 6-8.
NOT just for gals! Saves paper expense & sore bums
& does a superior job.
