Re: [DIY] how to cut stall pads?

You might want to try a dual saw.  Use beeswax to lubricate the blades.  It might take three people however with one using the dual saw and the other two pulling back on the two sides of the mat on either side of the cut to reduce  binding.  I have the one sold by Ridgid and it is amazing what these will cut through with no kick back.

My daughter and husband decided they wanted to put down some tough rubber flooring in their home gym.  They purchased some pads used to lay down for flooring in horse stalls.  The pads are about 3/4" thick and about 4' x 4'.  They are heavy and it takes two people to lift one.  They are made of a tough rubber compound which may be recycled tire rubber.

She needs suggestions on how to cut the pads, either manually or some kind of power tool (preferred).

Any ideas?
