It sounds like you have only a small section of pipe that might be frozen. Or the hot valve for the kitchen is shut off. If you are getting freezing weather tonight, open up all the faucets and let warm water (half hot half cold) dribble out. That'll keep the others from freezing. If you keep the hot in the kitchen open, you'll know when it thaws enough to run.

I am not real sure on what is happening there, does the Cold and Hot water work everywhere else? I think professionals would be your best bet right now.
