Pay attention to the type of toilet paper you are using. Single ply of the type used in RV's might help.

Any suggestions for the brand?Any suggestions that will help us avoid this? Should be we putting a drain cleaner down the toilet periodically or after family gatherings?Hadnt had a problem since the first of August... then thanksgiving came and we had several house guests. Now we are noticing problems and will most likely have to ream out the septic line again.30 days later the septic line was plugged. 30 days after that.. it was plugged again. We put in a new stool earlier this summer because the old one was cracked and had a leak.It is impossible to buy a toilet with the old fashioned water useage. They are now made to conserve water even when there are thousands and thousands of people in the United States who live in country areas and have no water bills. Many of those homes have older pipe systems and need the higher water amounts to flush the solids through the older pipes. Our home is one of those.
We determined that the lower water was the culprit and have been flushing twice... when needed.
This is a nasty job... lid has to be removed from the septic and a water hose with a blasting type nozzle shoved up the pipe until the blockage is broken loose.
