Hi, I have aluminum gutters that run along the front of my carport and entry. On one end there's a downspout and on the other the gutter butts up against the side of my house (white cedar shingles unpainted). I think there must have been some sort of sealer on the end that butts up against the house. The sealer has now failed and I'm seeing some green mildew running down the side of the house from where water has leaked. A downspout at that end would not be a good idea as there is really no place for the water to go.
Sooooo, I would like to know what kind of sealant I could use to stop the leak. I'm thinking that maybe a 40% bleach/water solution could be used to eliminate the mildew stain. Any ideas out there?
Thanks.
Joyce
