Re: [DIY] temporary wall/room divider ideas?

Build a frame from PVC pipe, and cover it with two or three layers of black nylon screen.

We live in a 2 br house, and our kids are too old to share their room anymore, so my husband and I are planning to move our room to the living room, making the dining room the living room. The only problem is privacy. the living room is big, but open to the hall & dining room, so a privacy wall (temporary) or divider that offers privacy as well as sound muffling, that we can make ourselves on a pretty tight budget (less than $100) is what we need, but aren't enthused about stringing up a curtain (or 6!) or blankets. The opening we need to close, with an opening for a doorway, is 8' tall by 12' wide. Any suggestions???
