Sounds like the igniter is bad, they should not cost much and should be an
easy swap, check your local appliance parts store

I have a gas Magic Chef stove, auto light. The 2 front burners won't light-
I have cleaned around the point & the burners. There is a starting noise,
but no lighting. If I hold a match to it, it starts up. Maybe a contact is
out or something? Anyone have a suggestion?
