Thanks for the correction and the helpful suggestion on just reaching up as far as we can. I guess that will show us how really bad they are... the ducts of course, if we had ducks,

I guess they would take offense at the suggestion.

First thing get rid of all your DUCKS and then wipe out your DUCTS
near the openings as far back as you are to reach after removing
the vent covers..worked for us for 25 years...when we had our CA
put in the old ducts were clean and only near the vent was some
light accumulation...like you we changed filters 3-4x a year and used
very heavy duty fine filters..

a fact that every job we have paid for someone else to do

We want to clean out own ducks..., any and all suggestions
will be a help in doing this. My husband thinks that only
the intake need to be cleaned.
