The best solution is to purchase a small inverter 12vdc that plugs into the light socket
and gives you 110 normal house voltage...hat way you can take the tv back into the house and cutting
the cord is kinda permanent...I did on my RV but I leave it hooked up perm...

BUT- if you want to cut..make sure your adapter puts out 12VDC and not 8 vdc or something weird..
I had a 20v unit once! ugh..anyway make sure the positive and negative are properly identified and you
can buy a lighter plug for the vehicle and the store can show you how to wire it up..the center pin
in he "hot" wire./..and the hot wire from the tv must be identified..

But on 2nd thought..buy the invertor
