At least 1" and 1 1/2 would be better. The difference in material costs should be minimal but you can check this out on line to get an idea.
How big should the new line be? they want to put in 3/4", I think the
old line is more like 1 1/2". No, I haven't looked at it this time but
we've been here before and that pipe was definitely more than 1". The
run is about 250'. What do my fellow DIYers say? what size should the
new line be?
Unfortunately we may end up hiring someone as the arthritis has reared
its ugly head, and the guy wants $450, that's making a connection at the
street and house, and no ditch! Just running the line on top of the
ground and we bury it.
Any helpful thoughts are welcome
