well after 5 or 6 days replacing pressure relieve valve. it did'nt solve the problem. Called whirlpool and they said i might have to install a diafram in cold water line coming in to heater to help control pressure. i need to find out if they come in 3/4 fittings .since i have a 3/4 flex line coming from from shutoff going right to nipple on heater.which is only 14 inches. at 90 o/o angle. i hope i have enough room to get fitings into add diafram .

[DIY] Re: Matted brown grass
Actually, by next fall you will not have a massive lump. It will compress itself to very rich compost that you can use in your garden beds. I do this with my leaves every year and that huge pile always becomes a small mound of mulch.

[DIY] Re: Shelf life of Polyurethane
I store mine upside down. Works really good for me.

Re: [DIY] walls
Slumlords who see a lot of damage do this.
Moisture migrates via diffusion through walls.
If you opt for this, use a vapor barrier paint.
You might use "cement board," which is a common strong
replacement for old "greenboard' in bathrooms.
It will cost maybe 20% more, overall.
It's a lil heavy so sheets are 3x5, not 4x8.
God Bless.

Re: [DIY] Matted brown grass
There's a special rake for this called a de-thatching rake. Both side
look a lil like mini plows. ESP good for bermuda. Be cautious with
other grasses until you get the hang of the exact angle you want to use.

Re: Fw: [DIY] RE: prolonging shelf life.
Another paint can trick.
Place the lid on the can, then put a paper towel
or scrap of newspaper on top of that. Then press down
on the lid to seal. Any paint in the lip that might splash
up is caught by the paper blotter. Discard paper scrap.
Not so much for prolonging shelf life as not adding
the mess when sealing up the cans.

My solution has been to store all my paint cans on their lids, then the skin is on the bottom in which case , who cares.
If you are worried about the seal place a NEW piece of seran wrap under the lid before you close the can.
The first thing I do after opening a new can of paint or varnish is to use an awl and punch 4 holes around the lid to allow liquid trapped in the seal grove to drain back into the can.
This prevents a hydraulic lock which is what prevents cans sealing in the first place prevent the cans sealing.
Even if you are going to store your used cans right side up, always let the set for a few minutes in the inverted position to help seal the lids

Re: [DIY] Replacing refridgerator door handle
Are you wanting to replace the handle or just get it on securely? Not sure if ours is the same model, we have a Kenmore side-by-side - 2005 model. The door handle on the fridge came loose and although he thought he was doing it correctly DH could not get it to tighten completely. He doesn't remember the details but there is a bracket on the inside of the handle that was loose, he got that tightened first. Then pull up sharply, push it in and slide down,it should sit down on the bracket. I know we had a repairman out on another problem and he showed him how to do it. He only remembers he had to use a lot more force to get it seated than he had been using. I have the manual if yours is a similar model.
I have a Kenmore side-by-side refridgerator that has a handle coming off. I can't find a set screw or anywhere to loosen the panel without taking the entire interior apart. I would prefer not to unless it is my last recourse. The handle looks as if it mounts to the door using a screw, set into a clip, that is mounted to the door panel (under the handle). If anyone has any advice on the easiest way to repair this, I would appreciate your insight.
