[DIY] B&D CMM1000 battery mower starts but won't stay running - ???

 

I love these battery-powered mowers, and I just couldn't pass this one up for $15...

It will start just fine, but as soon as I let off the starter lever, it dies. Anybody know what that might be? Can't find this info in a websearch, and I don't know what all those wires are for under there. None of them seem to be broken.
