Most light sensors can be adjusted for sensitivity so small movements
will not be detected. I have to set mine up a bit or the wind will move
weeds and branches around enough to set the lights on.
You should be able to set the amount of time it will stay on.
I put rope lights on my bridge and they turn on as you approach from
either side. I set them to go off i a couple of minutes versus the
house lights that stay o for 5 minutes.
