I have not tried Rustoleum cabinet refinisher but it reads well on their web site.
Yes you can put moldings onto a flat cabinet door.
There are tons of different moldings that one can purchase and just about as many ways to put them onto the doors.
Do a quick search with your favorite search engine on the internet for "cabinet door moldings" and you will get tons of places to look.
You could also cut some open and put glass in them as an additional idea.
