You could have the tube straightened and if you know someone with a lathe they could machine a tube that will bridge the break that could then be epoxied into place or soldered. Soldering or welding probably not a choice because if the tube is plated the plating will come off from the heat. You say you think it is brass over something. A magnet will tell you of the base metal of the tube is iron or steel.
