Buy a good 14/ga extension cord that is no longer than you need.

Is there any way around this? Can I buy a bigger cord? It is going to get hard to find a place to put this great new toy if I can't use an extension cord. What if I pulled of the back and added a longer one piece wire?

the extension cord will get hot from the amount of power the small refrig takes to operate thus causing a fire hazard
