Shed underfloor insulation.
I am reluctant to add foam board on top of the shed floor as it is already less than 8' from floor to ceiling.
Eventually I want to install laminate floor in this shed. It is a storage and hobby area.
We do not want to use any kind of batting under the floor because of rodents.
Eventually we are also going to add concrete board around the outside of crawl space.
The 2" foam-board that is sold by the big box stores comes in 4 x 8 sheets.
The clearance under the shed from support to concrete foundation is about 13".... too tight for closed cell spray application.
I can get under that shed and do it with the 4 by 8 sheets.
In attaching the sheets to the bottom of the wood, there will be a 6" air gap between the applied insulation and the underside floor .
It will be easier for me to do this than cutting into individual strips to go between the wood supports.... and less sealer.
any recommendations will be appreciated.
