Re: [DIY] Mortise Lock? Making progress!!

 

Knowing not everyone is in the same time zone, I tried to get some pictures tonight and was able to make out a brand name when I enlarged the image.  It's an Omnia R13846 - the Letters UL are in a circle, followed by an F.


I found it online, ours is an older more ornate lock, but this is the mechanism. 
 http://www.omniaindustries.com/locksets-15/mortise-locksets-16/lever-53/lever-2012-678  The levers on our doors are like the one shown on the Technical Info page.  http://www.omniaindustries.com/technicals/archive?information_id=7&  It's actually the Georgica with the levers.  I'm going to follow thru online but if anyone has any suggestions, they're very welcome.  I suspect something might be broken inside as the "outside" lever on the side with the key lock, just spins.
