Thanks to all who responded with your experiences and knowledge. It gives us a great place to start from. When we purchased the property we had a complete well test and everything came in within the accepted range, which doesn't give a whole lot of information. The university extension will do soil and water samples for $30 +- so think I will start there. As I've said before, knowing what questions to ask and alternatives makes a big difference. sink. connected to my cold water line, with washing machine rubber hose....
The longer hose allowed me to remove the entire "set-up" from under the
sink in order to replace the filters, when needed......Flushing your hot water
heater once a year will extend its life and remove any residue......Pumps
